BEY CEMENT Group of Companies, headquartered in Bandırma and chaired by Soner Özbey, is now establishing two new factories in Tekirdağ and İzmir regions together with China’s largest cement company, following its latest investment in Yalova.
BEY ÇİMENTO Board Chairman Soner Özbey purchased 51% of KARÇİMSA operating in Karabük, following the cement grinding and packaging factory he established in Bandırma.

Having established a new cement factory in Yalova last year, Özbey is now preparing to make another huge investment in the cement sector with its Chinese partners.
Soner Özbey, Chairman of the Board of BEY CEMENT, who signed the agreement with China’s largest cement manufacturing company in Shanghai, China, to establish two cement factories simultaneously in Tekirdağ and İzmir regions, is on his way to becoming a leading organization in the Turkish Cement Sector.
BEY CEMENT WILL REACH AN ANNUAL PRODUCTION CAPACITY OF CLOSE TO 3 MILLION TONS
BEY ÇİMENTO, which produces more than 1 million 150 thousand tons per year in total in its cement factories in Bandırma, Karabük and Yalova, will produce 800 thousand tons per year and an additional 1 million 600 thousand tons in two factories it will establish in Tekirdağ and İzmir with its Chinese partners.
The two new Clinker Grinding Facilities in Tekirdağ and İzmir regions, which will cost 103 Million Dollars, are aimed to start cement production in the second quarter of 2025.
Thus, BEY ÇİMENTO, which will reach a production capacity of nearly 3 million tons per year, will take its place among the most important cement producers of the country.
BEY CEMENT, HAS A SAY IN DOMESTIC MARKET AND EXPORT

NEW GENERATION ‘GREEN CEMENT’ WILL BE PRODUCED
Both cement factories, which will be established in Tekirdağ and İzmir regions with Chinese partners, will be within the framework of the Green Deal and will have the latest technology.
The new generation, called ‘Green Cement’, does not leave a carbon footprint in its production.
Due to the Green Deal signed by many countries around the world, facilities that cause environmental pollution, such as the cement and iron and steel sectors, will complete their production lives in the next few years.
These sectors that cause environmental pollution are now establishing ‘New Generation’ factories and leaving no carbon footprint. Therefore, they are switching to production with zero pollution and carbon.
